The AnyBody Modeling System version 4.2 and the associated version 1.2 of the model repository have just been released. They contain important and long-awaited improvements of capabilities and models. This presentation introduces the most important updated features, and a few of the features of special interest are demonstrated, namely:
New functionality to view and work with C3D files for motion analysis. New facilities for viewing the model. Easier editing and setting of model parameters. How to add weights on soft kinematic constraints to handle occluded markers from motion capture data. How to model pathological co-contraction of muscles by adding auxiliary constraints in the muscle recruitment.
